At noon we pointed the Squid Row 2 to the East (sort of) and after a rather bumpy ride, we stopped at our first spot
The fish were hanging tight to small structure and because it was too rough to anchor, we drifted. Each time we got on top of them, we caught a double but it was a quick shot due to drift speed
Decided to try another few miles offshore, had John drive the boat while I purged my breakfast
and looked and looked, but did not see much of anything.Tried a few more spots and headed for the hill.
I guess we caught 20 or 30 fish in the two hours we fished, and it was an absolute blast fishing with John.
